For many centuries Minnesota pipestone has been an item of religious
importance and an important object of trade for many tribes.
This high quality pipestone is easy to shape and is polished to a
beautiful finish.  Pipestone is the perfect natural material for pipe
making.

These blocks of pipestone average 2 - 4 lbs. and are large enough for
two pipe heads. The thickness varies from 11/2 -2 inches, with a
length and width averaging 4.5" - 5" , other dimensions are available.  
This pipestone is quarried on private land.
